KFEF YOUTH LEARN TO SKATE SCHOLARSHIP

The Kunneman Farms Educational Fund provides tuition support for families of motivated Learn to Skate participants ages 4-18. To qualify, skaters must complete the application, submit an essay or a drawing describing their love for ice skating, and provide a copy of their most recent school report card. Selected applicants are eligible for up to the full cost of tuition for up to three Learn to Skate courses, and/or selected Aspire course offerings (approval required). Provisions may also be available to offset equipment costs.

Skating requires consistency, resilience, and a positive outlook. KFEF Learn to Skate Scholarship recipients must demonstrate consistent class attendance, work ethic, a can-do attitude, and the desire to learn and improve. All approvals are on a case-by-case basis, based on the merit and the need of each individual skater.

• Create essay or drawing describing the skater’s love of skating. Why is skating important to the skater? Specifically, what does he or she love about skating? What has the skater learned from skating?
• Submit a copy of the skater’s most recent school report card
• Scan all materials and email them in one email to blazersicecentre@gmail.com.
